Concept
空中に線を描くような3Dプリントによって、織物や格子を思わせる柄を立体に応用したシリーズ。表面から柄が浮き上がったような立体感があり、見る角度によって異なる表情が生まれます。置き時計やペントレイなど、さまざまな道具へ展開しています。A series that applies woven- and grid-like patterns to three-dimensional forms through 3D printing that draws lines through open space. The raised patterns create depth and shift in appearance depending on the viewing angle. The series extends to objects such as desk clocks and pen trays.
Technique
空中出力と複数色のフィラメントを組み合わせて、立体的な柄をつくっています。オリジナルのG-code生成による造形経路と出力スピードの調整によって、通常の積層造形とは異なる表現を実現しています。Free-air extrusion and multiple filament colors are combined to create three-dimensional patterns. Custom-generated G-code controls toolpaths and print speeds, enabling forms of expression that differ from conventional layer-by-layer printing.
