Concept
積層ごとの色の切り替わりと、レイヤーのわずかなずれを組み合わせてグラデーションをつくるシリーズ。近くで見ると一本一本のレイヤーの色が分かれて見え、離れて見るとひとつのグラデーションとして現れます。見る距離によって変化する色の表情を楽しむ作品です。A series that creates gradients by combining color changes between layers with subtle shifts in layer position. Up close, the colors of individual layers remain distinct; from a distance, they merge into a single gradient. The work explores how color changes with viewing distance.
Technique
レイヤーごとに色を切り替えながら、積層位置を少しずつずらすことで、表面に現れる色を変化させています。3Dプリントの「積層する」という製造工程そのものを活かすことで、立体物でありながら豊かな色の変化と、グラフィックのような表現を生み出しています。Colors are switched layer by layer while the layer position is shifted slightly, changing which colors appear on the surface. By using the additive layering process itself as part of the design, the three-dimensional object gains rich color transitions and a graphic quality.
